The Turkey’s Roost Campsite was developed in 1989 to increase the number of campsites available at Wente Scout Reservation. Originally, Turkey’s Roost was known as lower 12 O’Clock High.  Along with Oak Flats, it is known for its afternoon cool breezes.  The original number for Turkey’s Roost was site 13.
