It’s time to get camp ready for the Camping Season!!

Each year, Wente Scout Reservation hosts a ‘Good Turn Weekend’ on the second weekend in April.  It’s intended for Troops, Crews and Ships (sorry no Packs) to earn service hours and help prep for summer camp.

Join us for a weekend of service! A great opportunity for your Troop or individual Scout & parent volunteer to join us in a weekend of camping and volunteer hours.   We require every youth to have a registered adult 21 or older to report to. You cannot drop your Scout off unattended for the weekend. 

Unit leadership should have on-hand a BSA Annual Health & Medical Record (med form) part A and B for all participants (found by clicking here).  All adults should have proof of current YPT certification & AB506 compliance.

Meals will be provided for Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and a Sunday breakfast. All other meals must be provided by yourself, cooking is allowed on propane stoves in your campsite. 

An email confirming you are attending and campgrounds will be sent by the individual camp’s leadership on the week of the event.
