The Wente Lodge was constructed in 2005 as a resource building for Scout retreats, meetings, and family camp outs. The Lodge is a two-story log cabin and is approximately 3000 sqft in size and contains many special amenities. Upstairs are three bedrooms (Two bedrooms, each with two queen size beds) and one bedroom with two twin size beds and two full shower-stall bathrooms. Downstairs has a dining area that seats 12 with additional folding table available, two large living room gathering areas, an Indoor wood fireplace, a full shower-stall handicap bathroom, a half bath, a Washer/Dryer, a full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, oven and a viewing room that can be used as a fourth bedroom. Outside there is a wood burning fireplace and a gas grill. During the off-season, when Scout Camp is not in session, Scout groups may wish to use our 80-acre lake for swimming or boating. Fishing is always great at Wente, and other special events may be available with pre-planning
